I can understand how the movie got unpleasant upon repeated viewing, but the opening dream sequence is simply gorgeous. I wished the rest of the movie were half as imaginatively animated as it was!
Did Cordelia find the villain at all frightening? When we saw it in the theater, the appearance of the villain made some small children behind us cry.
