the_rckI talked with my mother this morning. She informed me that her sister, the youngest of the five siblings, passed away on Wednesday. From what Mom said, it was both sudden and kind of expected. She had Downs Syndrome and rapid onset Alzheimer's.
The funeral is tomorrow. We could, in theory, go, but I think we won't. The drive would take us nearly three hours each way. Mom won't be going, and from what she said, it's mainly for the people from my aunt's group home.
