Yesterday, I had lunch with [livejournal.com profile] odosgirl. We went to Panera and talked for a couple of hours. We talked fandom a bit. [livejournal.com profile] odosgirl says that her fandom now is eighteenth century American history, most specifically Thomas Paine. She's certainly enthusiastic enough about it to be considered fannish. Unfortunately, it's not a fandom that's widely shared. I know she'd love people to talk to about it who also know something about the era. We didn't really discuss her dissertation apart from her saying that she's doing it for NaNo and is making good progress.

Thursday is the day when our cleaning lady comes. We still have to get working copies of our keys so that I can give her one. Right now, I've got nothing scheduled on Thursday afternoons, but it would be nice to have the flexibility to schedule stuff like dental appointments on Thursdays.

In the evening, Delia's school had putt-putt golf in the gym. It was two dollars a game. Scott and Delia played two rounds. I just followed along, carrying Delia's coat. The PTO was selling hotdogs, baked good, popcorn, drinks and candy. Delia had a hotdog for dinner. I got a donut for my take with food medication (I can't handle hotdogs, or I'd have gone that route). There was a free movie (Madagascar 3, I think) in the multi-purpose room (cafeteria with a stage). Delia sort of watched that. She spent a lot of time running back and forth with her friends. Scott went home early because he hadn't had dinner and can't eat hotdogs due to his beef allergy. I had a hard time because I didn't dare watch the movie for fear of getting a migraine, but my eyes were drawn to the screen because it was what was going on. I mostly sat with my back to the screen.
