My scarf has reached a fairly respectable length. I'm halfway through the third ball of yarn, and I believe that by the time I finish it the scarf will be more than long enough to use. The second ball of yarn seems to have had different intervals for the color changes than either the first or the second. Both of the latter tended to give occasional multi-row patches of one color while the former never had more than two together. Given that the scarf's wider than any of the same color patches, I don't think it'll be noticeable to a casual inspection. The second ball of yarn also had two breaks in it, so I think it was simply a bit defective.
