Jun. 5th, 2002 06:52 amWednesday was Justin's last guest appearance in the midweek Amber game. The first phase of the civil war in the game was resolved, but the winning side didn't catch enough of the possible future opponents to forestall future fighting. Justin got to do quite a bit since I'd asked him to run the commander of the winning side. LunarGeography's character jumped sides again which makes sense given her priorities but does make my job more difficult.
Thursday afternoon, LunarGeography came over. She was rather startled when I suddenly went from animated and social to monosyllabic. I hadn't eaten or slept properly and got hit by a slowly growing headache. I did have to explain to her that I generally don't cancel plans just because I'm feeling kind of lousy; if I did, I'd end up canceling all of my plans. She and Scott pushed me into eating, so I was doing a bit better when we headed off to Matt's to watch anime.
Matt was interested in talking about his crush and trying to argue out why it might work or might not. The latter seems more likely to me, but… Matt's still kind of hopeful. I just let him know that my brain wasn't working and kept knitting. LunarGeography nodded and made "I'm listening" noises a lot. When we finally started watching anime, we discovered that we didn't actually have the tape we needed for Hana Yori Dango, so we watched Blue Seed until I drooped visibly and Matt said that he really needed to try to get to sleep.
