I've finished the first draft of my Yuletide fic. The ending is weak, and I still don't have a title, but I could post what I've got and not be ashamed of it. Scott knows this fandom, so he's been helping me all along. Another friend is taking a look at the story now. With luck, she'll be able to help me out.

I knew I was going to get done, but I was starting to wonder when. I kept going off in directions that didn't quite work and having to go back, discarding my progress to try something else.

I've got six days to the deadline, too, so I have time to get it properly beta read and edited. It's a relief.
