I got to UHS for my eye appointment about half an hour early. The doctor was free, so she did her bit before the peripheral vision test and color perception test and all of that. Doing the peripheral vision test with my eyes dilated was even less fun than I expected, but they had me out of there about forty five minutes after I arrived. I have a prescription for reading glasses and a separate one for distance. The doctor said that it wouldn’t matter if I kept using my current glasses for distance given that there’s not much change and that I don’t use them more than a handful of times a year.

When I texted

evalerie, she was only a few blocks away because her oldest had a half day today because they’re doing exams. So my timing was pretty much perfect. She picked my up, we drove to her house and dropped her son off, and then she brought me back home. I was in no hurry.

My eyes have almost returned to normal, so the next thing I’m going to do is to shower. I won’t be able to do it this evening while the house is full of Cordelia’s friends, and I’d rather sleep a little bit later tomorrow than get up and shower then.
