And I got three more troll comments on that one fic, all with the same signature and all three claiming that my use of the Zero Room contradicts canon. I can only shake my head and laugh because there's almost no canon about the Zero Room to contradict. I mean, I could say that turtles left in there too long turn purple. There's nothing in canon to say that that doesn't happen, so I should be golden, right?

Seriously, go be pedantic about a canon that doesn't contradict itself six ways about every bit of canon relating to technology and the made up history and culture. Shoo!

It is Doctor Who. Old Who, even, with the Fourth Doctor and Romana II. I'm just boggled by the idea of canon errors in Doctor Who. Especially since most of the 'errors' are things are firmly canonical. I cherry picked, but that's a time honored tradition.

I'm not convinced this person actually knows the fandom particularly well. From what I gather, this is mostly likely a troll who's hit a number of people in different fandoms on FFnet. They're apparently trying to upset people. I just wouldn't have thought that old Who would be particularly fruitful in that direction. New Who, possibly, probably even, but old Who crossed over with Weiss Kreuz?

So I'm torn between pointing and laughing and smacking them on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.

I hung the story off of Tot being dead and then suddenly not being dead after all. She still looked the same, but it could have been regeneration. If it had happened before, it would explain why Masafumi wanted her around.

Ah. I can't actually recommend it, not unless the tropes are things you like-- Vigilante assassins with angst, some enemies with psychic powers, a tiny bit of weird science.

But I have a blast writing it, even now.
