Nov. 7th, 2017 12:09 pmI don't have a headache, but I still feel rather like something whacked me hard, right between the eyes. I went back to bed a little after 7:00 this morning (after getting up at 5:00). I'm not sure how much I slept because I was up three times to pee between then and when I got up at 10:30, but I remember dreaming. Part of me really desperately wants to go back to bed again. I'm not sure I'm ever going to not feel exhausted again.
At least lying down again seems to have gotten rid of the nausea.
Since I got up at 10:30, I've had some Triscuits, one cheese stick (supposedly Gouda, but a cheese stick is a cheese stick is a cheese stick), and some heavily sweetened coffee leftover from what I made for Cordelia this morning. I'm hoping that this, taken together, will give me enough oomph to look at the food we have and not say to myself, "I might be able to bend over and get that can and then wait and open it in a bit. How gross would refried beans be cold?"
Yesterday, one of our neighbors brought by a package for Scott from Amazon. She told us that she found it lying on the grass a block away. The package was unopened, and the address on it was correct, so we have no idea. It certainly wasn't on the porch when I brought in the mail, and that was soon enough after it was delivered that I could see the guy heading for the next house. The only package we've ever had completely vanish contained twelve pairs of cheap cotton underwear.
I'm going to wait to vote until Scott's home. There's not going to be a line. We've got two ballot proposals and nothing else. That doesn't tend to pull out voters even when the weather is nice (for November). Both ballot proposals are things I have opinions about (one's school related, for special education funding for things the schools are required to provide but get no additional state funding to pay for).
