the_rckScott picked up food at the Syrian place on his way home last night. They didn't have what Cordelia wanted, and Scott decided that fava beans with peppers were close enough to couscous with feta and peppers.
I have no idea why either. At the very least, he should have called her to ask.
My cramps are worse today. I don't think I'm going to spend much time out of bed today. I've taken something for them, but it's not actually helping.
I need to call Scott's mother because I promised I would. Beyond that, I'll probably not try to do much of anything but the grocery list.
I need to start a list of things to discuss with my doctor on Monday. I suspect that there will be a lot of frustration on both sides because she tends to say 'make these changes' and not listen when I ask how I'm supposed to deal with the things that the changes mean I can't do but that I absolutely have to do. I mean, yes, 'get more sleep' is something I need to do, but that doesn't address any of the reasons why I'm not already doing it, you know?
I wrote about a thousand words last night. I do much better in that direction when I can retreat and get away from Scott and Cordelia. It's not generally feasible, but sometimes I can get away with it. Scott right now is happy to have the living room because he bought a copy of Mass Effect 3 for the WiiU and is playing that. I don't think he knows anything at all about the previous games in the series.
Scott found out, after it was too late to change his work schedule, that he was never signed up to drive for leaf raking on Saturday. He was signed up on Sunday, but because he thought he was driving both days, he kind of flipped a coin and took the shift on Sunday (also most people prefer working Saturday to working Sunday, so offering to take Sunday earns brownie points). I'm not sure if somebody who volunteered to drive on Saturday will be willing to swap with him to drive Sunday instead.
