the_rckI actually wrote quite a lot yesterday. It's all terrible OOC stuff that would take a lot of work to be postable, even anonymously, because it either needs to be altered to be in character or to take out references to things in my other stories. The latter may be more possible but will, I fear, make the whole thing more OOC. Still, I'm poking at a character whose POV I haven't written before.
I've got two fics out with beta readers. I'm not expecting to post either before the New Year, but I suppose it's possible if, somehow, neither need major editing and both beta readers have free time in the next couple of days. I'm not going to worry about it.
I'm working on some Rurouni Kenshin stuff and need to look up the spellings of a couple of character names. I'm pretty sure I've got a document somewhere on my laptop that has them just so that I don't need to go searching again, but I'll have to find that (or make it if I don't find it). I'm also groping my way along with the series of fics because the Kyoto arc is the point in canon when the actions of the characters make it so that history can happen the way it actually did. I don't know enough about the real history to extrapolate well (I haven't been able to find much that's easily accessible in English), so I think I'm going to avoid letting what I write do more than brush that aspect of things. I'm mostly interested in the character side.
I need to go and do family social stuff today. I don't want to, but I think I need to be there for the last day of Scott's brother's family's visit. They're leaving tomorrow.
