the_rckToday and the next few days are going to be eaten by laundry with not much else to break that up, so rather than doing anything else, I've made an annotated list of my current WIP. I do that periodically but don't generally post them here because making them coherent tends to take too much time.
WIP List (things I've worked on in the last two or three months):
Untitled: College with Merlin and Luke and Luke telling Merlin his secret. Not part of HoSaM. Not dark but still open ended. Luke/Merlin. Ready for beta? 1432 words.
Hide Nothing to Desire - Martin/Merlin, kink, consensual BDSM, long and episodic and PWP w/character development. May never end but really isn't going anywhere. House of Sulfur and Mercury, We Are Where We Began branch. Somewhere between 17K words
Stealing What Little I Can - New Sky High AU. Possibly first story in a series. Apparently I write Sky High darkfic now. Awaiting beta and further editing. 13007 words.
Untitled: Martin meeting amnesiac Luke - Part of House of Sulfur and Mercury, after "Your Future Has a History" with Luke no longer remembering all of the bad stuff in his personal history. 1364 words.
As My Loss Is Grievous: Original fic. Started writing this for an old exchange prompt. It started showing signs of wanting to be a novel and of not wanting to follow the prompt so much. Possibly to be abandoned? 1596 words.
Working title: Martin is Terrible - Part of House of Sulfur and Mercury. I wrote it in an effort to find Martin as a character who is not Luke or Merlin, but I'm still groping. I need some other way to make him stand out than trying to make him more of an asshole than Merlin is. Possibly to be abandoned. 2790 words.
Untitled: Peter in Charn. Sequel to Dark and Deep. Needs massive world building and will have a lot more physical nastiness than Dark and Deep did. Need to find the right voice for this version of Peter. 561 words.
Untitled: Pretender crossover. There was a Fandom Stocking prompt that gave me a Pretender AU crossover idea. This probably won't go anywhere because it would require watching a longish TV show that I've tried before and failed to stick with. Possibly to be abandoned. 470 words.
Untitled: Rurouni Kenshin. Tokio POV. Part of When the Heroes Fall series. Saitoh tells Tokio that the Battousai is alive and working for Shishio. Then they have to tell everyone else. 1425 words.
A treat for Chocolate Box 2018: just need to put in some description from canon and find my way to an ending. This is another thing that could have sequels, but... No. I have a title, at least. 2879 words.
