I got cranky with Scott this morning over him not thinking about my actual physical limitations. He was trying to be helpful, and ended up making things massively harder for me. What he did might make things easier for him if he were exhausted. For me, it means lifting blankets from the floor in order to stuff them into bags instead of lifting them from the bed to stuff them into bags. For some reason, he thought that pulling the sheets off was the hard part. The sheets are easy. They don't weigh much. They take time rather than strength.

He also, because he doesn't think, managed to get another thing that I use sent to quarantine. I'll get that back two days after I get back the things we took to the basement on Tuesday. Also, until tthe13th, I can't have my heating pad. I can buy a new one, but I won't be able to use it in the bedroom at night.

I'm going to have to make Scott go downstairs and try to get the washing machine back into the place where it goes. It's been walking forward, and I'm not strong enough to push it back where it belongs. I'm putting that down to the fact that I've been washing blankets. I wish I had a better option for those, but I can't think of what it might be. I can't take six bags of blankets and sheets (mostly blankets) across town to a laundermat, couldn't even if I had cash on hand rather than just a credit card and checkbook.

I can hear the washer in the basement right now, and I shouldn't be able to. I'm kind of worried that, when I go downstairs, I'll find that it's too far from where it should be for me to be able to use it safely for the remaining five loads of bedding.

I'm still figuring out the blood pressure monitoring situation. Every single device I can find has instructions to take it to get it calibrated. I can't do that. I just can't. An extra trip out of the house is not something I can cope with in the foreseeable future. I could do it on the 15th or the 16th when I'll be at medical appointments anyway. Sooner is simply not happening.

I'm also kind of boggled that the regular cuff goes up to 15.8 inches while the 'extra large' cuff goes up to 17 inches. That extra 1.2 inches is another $20 (the basic device is $42), and heaven help you if you need more than 17 inches because apparently no one makes that. I still haven't found my cloth measuring tape. It's probably in Cordelia's room or something. I used one of our metal tapes, and that was about 16 inches, probably plus or minus 0.5 to 1 inch.

I really just want to order the damned thing, but I probably better find the fabric tape measure so that I can be more accurate. If I don't need the bigger cuff, I'd rather not buy it, but a too small cuff can make the readings wrong.

Our cleaning lady called last night to say that she has a doctor's appointment this afternoon that she had forgotten about. She'll come some time on Friday, instead.

We had a session of Scott's tabletop game last night. It was the first time I'd really been able to play for many months. I still faded hard once we hit 9:00. Naturally, Scott picked then to try to set up something that will require the whole group to be present and paying attention. I just couldn't.

I missed what's going on with quarantining sheets and bedding, but it sounds un-fun. Much sympathy!!!
