the_rckI need to work on getting back into shape as I start feeling better. I think that I'm feeling better, at least somewhat better, but getting Cordelia to her appointment yesterday afternoon was kind of brutal because I really can't keep up with her when we're walking. Cordelia ended up eating half of the sandwich I'd packed. I'd kind of expected that, but it also meant that I was hungry by the time we got home.
Scott got out of work yesterday approximately five minutes after Cordelia and I absolutely had to leave in order to catch the bus to her appointment if we wanted to be there in time, so we were 2/3 of the way to the stop when he called. I couldn't make it back up the hill, and it was too cold for it to make sense for us to wait there for him (especially with the bus no more than fifteen minutes out).
Scott wants to take me out for lunch today which means I need to decide where I want to go. I'll probably go with Totoro just because I really like their food. There are certainly other places I'd enjoy, but trying to figure out the possibilities is just too hard.
Writing-wise, I'm mostly editing right now. I'm trying to get the long Sky High thing ready to post but keep finding more things that would be stronger if I add/change something else. I'm waiting for a beta read on the treat I wrote for Chocolate Box. I'm hoping to get both of them posted before the Chocolate Box deadline which is some time on the 7th.
