I have managed to read two books this week, one novel and one book of short stories. This is huge because I didn't finish anything in January except some manga, and that was a terrible slog because I couldn't focus. When following the plot of The Wallflower is challenging, there's definitely something wrong.

We had lunch at Totoro yesterday. I ate Cordelia's leftover udon for dinner and my leftovers for breakfast. There's a Starbuck's across the street from Totoro, and Cordelia remembered her Christmas gift card and got herself a chai latte.

Cordelia's got a cold, and I keep thinking I'm coming down with it but then wake up the next morning with no symptoms. My current theory is that the tension in my shoulders is doing something weird to my sinuses because I start having problems around 5 in the afternoon and keep having problems until I sleep. Then I wake up okay.

I did not have a headache this morning, but I was very groggy. I had disturbing dreams right before waking. The thing that got me and Scott both to wake was me accidentally hitting his hand with my knee. Naturally, I banged against the arthritic bit.

Scott spent the afternoon playing board games with the local gaming group. I'm glad that everything lined up to let him go because he doesn't get to play such things often.

I'm working on edits for that treat I'm writing for Chocolate Box 2018. It's very, very close to being what I want. I just need to solidify some worldbuilding in the text and add some sense of place for a couple of the scenes.

Totoro? Like inspired by the movie "My Neighbor Totoro"? That's cool.

Good luck with the writing!
