Mar. 2nd, 2018 07:47 amCordelia's at school now. I'm trying to decide whether or not I've got the spoons to move our frozen food outside. I fear we'll be without power for a while because the outage map shows lots of tiny outages around town and some much bigger outages elsewhere in the service area.
Scott said it was warm enough that running the taps shouldn't be necessary, but it's getting colder, inside and out. The outside temperature has dropped 2 degrees F in the last hour, and it's 61F inside with no heat.
Scott also thought that it being chilly in the house would mean the fridge and freezer contents would stay cold. I'm dubious about that too. They may warm more slowly, but we might be days. If power's still out when Scott gets home, I'm going to ask about the feasibility of staying at his parents' place. We can check power status here just by calling the landline. If we get the answering machine, there's power.
