The quick strep test for Cordelia is negative. I'm hopeful that the culture will be as well, but we won't know that until tomorrow.

The cab for the appointment came 45 minutes early, so we sat in the waiting room for an hour. There were some very, very young babies there, and I would have preferred that we not be in the same room with them because I was afraid that Cordelia's bug will get them. The practice has never had separate spaces for well children and contagious ones, and it's been one of the things that I don't like about them.

Scott got another call from work in the middle of the night. This one actually required that he try to re-juggle some things while half-asleep. We've talked about moving the phone to his side of the bed, but we haven't actually done it yet because I have space for it and he doesn't.

I know I slept some after that because I remember dream fragments, but I'm pretty exhausted anyway. I'm planning to lie down once I'm sure Cordelia's got what she needs for a couple of hours.
