the_rckScott and Cordelia went to the Smithees last night and stayed for the whole show, something between four and five hours of it. Cordelia thought it was funny. She'd expected to be bored and to feel out of place. She's a bit boggled by the level of terrible that the various clips represent.
They got dinner from the Syrian place. They almost missed it because the place closes at 6 p.m. on Saturdays. I think that most of their business is lunch time and during the work week. Scott got me cauliflower salad for me, and I had some of it for breakfast.
I did a little writing yesterday, but it was like pulling teeth. I'm hoping to do more today while Scott and Cordelia go to the matinee of the musical at Cordelia's school. I could have gone, but I think that I'd have found sitting in the auditorium stressful beyond being worth it.
Right now, they're dropping off Cordelia's phone to get the screen replaced and then going to the library. They've got an hour before they need to be at the school, so they should have time. We don't know how long the play will be, so we don't know if they'll be able to get Cordelia's phone back today.
I'm working on changing the sheets this afternoon. I want to get it done before my hands hurt too much for getting the fitted sheet on properly. I need to run a load of laundry before bedtime, so that I have a clean nightgown. I also need to do the dishes and to find some sort of food that will help me feel more energetic.
