the_rckCordelia's back at school today. She's without her phone which she considers a burden mostly because it means not having her music. The repair place called after the play ended last night to say that something had gone wrong and that they needed an extra day (at least) to repair that.
I have a rough timeline for my Sky High fic now. Thank goodness for the internet. I was able to go back to 2005 to figure out dates for events and also to spot things like, "Oh, yeah. Thanksgiving is a thing that might matter."
I still haven't finished the Smut Swap story. I've made progress. I think that the sticking point is that I know that the scene I need to finish is going to be bad and boring. Partly because it's not something I'm good at writing and partly because I'm so tired of the story that I can't tell good/bad. I'm at the point of going, "Well, intellectually speaking, I know the characters are into it, but I'm mostly interested in the non-sexual stuff."
I poked at my list of WIP again and came up with 18 stories that I've left partially written. That doesn't include sequels unless I have words written already. I'd ask you all what I should work on after this current story is done, but I wouldn't be likely to listen, so... probably not useful to do.
I don't have anything that requires that I leave the house this week or next. I'm hoping that things will warm up enough that taking some walks becomes appealing. Right now, I'd be okay except for my hands and my ears and face, but my hands will hurt. I've somehow lost track of every pair of gloves in the house. Most of them have vanished into Cordelia's possession and then evaporated into mist or something, just like my knee socks.
