And I'm home.

The oncologist never did show up, but they decided they could let me go today anyway. I have an appointment with my PCP on Monday, and she and I will harass the oncology department so that someone sees me.

I'll continue with oral antibiotics for another week, and I've got instructions for going forward.

Scott left for grocery shopping before I remembered that I need his help to cut this damned wristband off. I don't trust my hands to be steady enough. The thing is tight.

I expect to sleep for 24 hours straight once I crash. I'm debating showering first, but I'm exhausted. (Scott thinks I don't need to. Cordelia thinks I do.)

I'm still getting better. Mostly, I'm tired and cranky. Cranky tends to be my go-to for the times when health things ought to be scaring the crap out of me, so it's not unexpected.
