[I wrote this on Tuesday before I started feeling sick and then didn't post it. Just some writing stuff.]

I have my intoabar assignment and am trying to figure out the best location for the characters to meet. I think I know why they'd meet, but one's a guy in his late 20s, and the other's an 8 year old girl with some very scary and protective relatives. Not that she's not terrifying in her own right, but... She'd likely be willing to talk before she starts screaming for all bystanders to protect her from the scary man (which might happen even if he doesn't do anything remotely threatening. There's a reason her brother and parents call her Awful, after all).

At any rate, Anthea 'Awful' Sykes from Diana Wynne Jones' Archer's Goon will meet Brad Crawford from Weiss Kreuz. I offered Crawford as my anchor character because he's got some level of precognition and is a manipulator. I figured that made having a plot involving meeting anyone at all considerably easier.

I know nothing about 'Awful' and nothing much about Mr. Crawford, but I would say a coffee or a dessert bar based on the age difference? ;D

Given the sudden lack of laptop, I’m not sure this story will happen at all. I strongly dislike writing on my phone because it’s harder on my hands and so excruciatingly slow. I absolutely can’t write longhand.

I’ll have to figure out the login for the account that I used for signing up and see if I can let the moderators know. I knew using my other DW to sign up was a bad idea, and I did it anyway.
