May. 1st, 2018 08:23 amAnd we've got mice. All three of us have seen at least one this morning, and the movement I keep catching as it (or they) explores is making me jumpy. There's not much to do about it until Scott gets off work this evening and can buy traps.
Right now, I'm waiting for the guy to come to do the air conditioner tuneup. I just dealt with a phone call for the ARide people to clarify my eligibility (and that seems to be taken care of).
Tomorrow, I go back to the cancer center for a check up on how I'm healing. I think things are looking good, but it's really hard to say.
Thursday is parent-teacher conferences at Skyline from 5-7 p.m. Scott can't get there until almost 6 p.m., so I'm trying to figure out how to get myself there with something that I can sit on while waiting in lines because I really, really can't manage without it. If I use the ARide, whatever I take has to be small enough to fit in my lap or at my feet because the cab trunks are only for walkers and wheelchairs (it's a shared ride thing). I would consider the chair an assistive device, but it's not an argument I want to have with a cabbie.
At some point, I need to get to our bank to transfer some money from Cordelia's account to cover our sudden computer expenses. I also need to return Cordelia's rented viola because my sister sent her one with our mother. We need to buy a bow for the new one at the same time we return the old one, and I need to check with them to see what they rented us nearly four years ago so that I know what we have to return. Some of the stuff will probably require searching Cordelia's room.
