An update on the laptop situation--

The seller says they'll send us a mailing label so that we can send the laptop back. They're pretty sure that the problem is the hard drive because they 'just discovered today' that a lot of hard drives they bought were all bad. Once they get the old laptop in hand, they'll ship us a replacement with a free upgrade.

I'm still cranky because I really would like to have a laptop of my own. I just feel like the universe is kicking me while I'm down.

On the up side, it was beautiful out today during the times when I needed to be out and about for an appointment. I ended up doing what I needed to do in five fairly short (under 5 minutes) but separate bursts. I don't know that I could have managed anything longer at a time. I've told Scott that what I probably need to do is to spend two or three hours in the basement with 5 minutes on the treadmill followed by 15 to 20 minutes of resting, over and over.

I think both ideas sound great. So glad that this is a temporary inconvenience.

I know that temporary inconveniences add up, but at least when one says temporary, we can put a time limit on each one.
