Some of my blood test results have come in (it might be all of them; I'm not sure what all we were testing). My iron levels have risen to be-- just barely-- in normal range. I expected them to be up since I've been more able to think, but I'm still exhausted all the time, so I think that that 'just barely' part is still a problem.

We went out for ice cream last night. We went to the Washtenaw Dairy. Scott and I had been interested in a different place that we hadn't tried before, but Cordelia looked at it and said, "We're not giving them our money." She didn't like them wanting more than $100 for a three gallon carton or selling cupcakes with chocolate covered ice cream on top of them. I don't remember the price on those, but Cordelia found the idea and cost together offensive.

I have to remember that a 'single scoop' at the Washtenaw Dairy is more than what I think of as a double scoop. It's about three times as much ice cream as I'd give myself at home. Scott got the kids' size, and I rather wish I had. It still would have been more than I wanted, but it would have been less.

We ended up stopping at Meijer after getting ice cream. Scott wanted a hanging basket of flowers for his mother, but by the time we got there, the plant/garden section was closed. I'm not sure what Scott expected at 9:30 p.m. We did get a couple of other things. The multivitamins that Cordelia takes aren't available at Kroger, and she's almost out. She also found a book that she really wanted.

We'll be leaving in about half an hour to go have lunch with Scott's family. I honestly really just want to go back to bed for a few hours, but I'll manage somehow.
