I wanted to sleep in this morning, but I woke around 7 a.m. with enough of a headache that I couldn't get back to sleep. Getting up and eating has made the headache go away, but I really, really want more sleep. Sadly, the timing will not work. The things we need to do today combined with the things I would like to do for my birthday simply won't allow it.

Scott and I need to go to the UMCU about a loan, and if we're going out for my birthday, something I'd like to do, it needs to be at lunchtime because I can't eat most of the things that are worth going out for after 2 p.m. Once it gets to about 3 p.m., I can't sleep until bedtime because of needing to eat at a particular time and needing meds at specific intervals relative to that (one with the meal, one two hours after, several others half an hour after that). Shifting my evening meal would mean needing to stay up later even without the meds, but the meds complicate it.

If we don't go out for lunch today, my birthday meal out will have to be put off. Tomorrow we'll be with Scott's family. Monday... There's something then, but I've forgotten what. Next Saturday, Cordelia has a choir fundraiser (a car wash). That would put us at a week from tomorrow. Scott's new work schedule gets him home too late for us to go out for dinner together even if I found something I thought was worthwhile. At best, he doesn't get home until I only have ten minutes left in my window for eating.
