Jul. 12th, 2018 09:02 amWe didn't manage to run the errand I wanted to on the way to the credit union. Traffic was heavier than we expected it to be. I think I can deal with that errand other ways, though. I'll be downtown today and will have several empty hours to ask at the bus station.
We did, however, get to the credit union on time and signed the papers for our home equity line of credit. We should be able to access that next week. At that point, I'll see about scheduling the roof work for the garage. Scott's looking at replacements for our dishwasher which has been getting steadily worse at getting things clean for the last year or so. I would like to be able to put things in and not worry that they'll come out with dirt on them that came from other dishes. There's work on the kitchen that we'd like to get done, but I don't know if that will happen any time soon.
I'm going to be spending most of the day out and about. I'm actually thinking about going into town early while it's cool enough that waiting for the bus isn't utterly miserable. I'm not sure that additional time outside of the house will make things worse when I eventually crash, but it's hard to tell.
I'm also a little afraid that, if I stop moving, I'll not be able to make myself get out the door for my appointments. I'm tired and don't feel all that well.
My gastroenterologist has ordered an abdominal CT scan. That'll happen next Wednesday evening. I have no idea if that will show anything useful at all. Past experience suggests that nothing at all will appear wrong and that my difficulties will be put down to my anxiety/my diet/my lack of exercise. Then again, maybe something will show up to explain why things have suddenly changed and/or what's been wrong for decades. Who knows?
