Most of the family spent the afternoon out on a pontoon boat yesterday. Scott and I went grocery shopping instead. There were two stores very close together. We went into the first one and found very little selection. The second had a better selection, but we didn't know that, so we bought what we could find before going on. The two stores had very similar names, and I'm not sure exactly what either were called.

A little more detailed looking online showed that the first store was actually a discount store, so maybe the only having one brand of mayonnaise and five types of breakfast cereal isn't surprising. We were able to get everything left on the list at the second store. I don't think that the first store had anything that the second didn't.

Sadly for Cordelia, Scott's mother took advantage of the boat trip to inquire as to what Cordelia knows about Jesus. Poor kid. I really should have made sure to brief her properly.

Food is going better for me than I feared. Mainly, I need to be there during preparation in order to set aside things at points when they're still edible by me and then finish the preparation so as to avoid changing that state. Microwaving a burrito would probably be easier, but me eating more or less what other people do makes other folks happier.
