the_rckNo headache today, but I didn't get back to sleep after Scott got up. I have to leave for an appointment in about two hours, so I'm not even going to try sleeping more just now.
I want very much to get lunch at Totoro after my appointment, but we've spent so much money the last two weeks that I really don't think I should. If I go there, I'll have to get carryout for Cordelia and for Scott, and it will run near to $60. With the cab to get there but not counting lunch out after, high school registration yesterday ran us about $180. I could have skipped the yearbook and school pictures which added up to slightly more than half of that. Lunch was about $16.
Scott's work is suffering a prolonged power outage. The timing is utterly terrible because it puts them way, way behind and means he has to reshuffle the schedule repeatedly. He worked from home last night because he could use Google and his own laptop to do delivery route planning. He and his coworkers will be working in a different building today (corporate headquarters isn't far from the plant).
