the_rckI managed to finish a chapter of my IIBB story and to start a couple of things that might be further chapters. The chapter lengths are wildly unbalanced, but I want to do chapter breaks with POV changes. I don’t like the idea of 500 word chapters. Three of the eight are that short. Putting them together doesn’t make sense no matter how I angle it.
The first first six chapters are tight, timewise, in ways that dictate order. The last couple of chapters aren’t anchored as tightly; they’re just later by an unspecified amount. The one that’s currently last shouldn’t end the story, though, so I have to figure out something that comes after. Or not. It’s IIBB after all. I’m probably putting way too much thought into it.
