I'm not completely sure where Friday and yesterday disappeared to. No, that's not quite true. I read cotton candy fic both days and did little else. It just wasn't what I meant to do at all.
Friday, I sneezed off and on all day. In the evening, we went to Skyline's performing arts show. Cordelia's choir went last and did a long piece that they and choirs from the other local high schools will be performing with the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra in January. Friday, they performed with the Skyline Orchestra.
I was very wobbly and unsure of my balance by the time we arrived at the school. The seating is at a steep angle which is not a great thing when I'm feeling that way. I don't think I was ever in danger of falling, but I felt like I was any time I was standing up.
Saturday, I mostly just stayed in bed. Scott took a carload of stuff out to donate and/or recycle. I ended up not eating much because I felt too wobbly to deal with making anything.
Scott had an allergic reaction, mid-evening, that was very clearly an alpha-galactose thing. Benadryl and a long time in the bathroom calmed things enough that he could sleep, but it meant that several things he needed to do didn't get done.
Today, we had the gathering for our niece's birthday. We realized much too late that neither Scott nor I had clean trousers, so I ran a last minute load of laundry. I still need to do another load, but we were only an hour late getting there.
If I'd been more together, I'd have tried to take my own food, but I wasn't that together, so the meal was kind of dismal for me. Scott's family really wants to accommodate my food needs, but it would require fundamental changes to what they cook and not match what other family members need. Since it's possible to accommodate everyone else if I feed myself, I feel that feeding myself makes the most sense.
