This morning, my laptop has repeatedly failed to boot. I have no idea when I’ll have a functioning laptop again. Scott can’t even talk about it until this evening. I’ve only had this for a few months, but we bought it used, so I think we’re SOL. I can use Scott’s laptop for some things when he’s not home, but a lot of things won’t be possible until I have access to my files again. We suspect the security update Apple pushed on me Wednesday evening. There’s nothing easy to be done about that either. I don’t know if we can get the OS from one backup and the files from another.

I have no idea what we do if this can’t be resurrected. There’s no room in the budget for replacing it. My phone is having problems, too, but they mostly seem to be gps related which currently only means Ingress doesn’t work properly.

At any rate, I’m not going to be able to do much for a while. I’ll be able to write in Gdocs but anything else...
