Another morning with the sinus issues. Scott recommended anti-inflammatories, so I took naproxen last night. That helped a bit, enough that I was able get up this morning to make Cordelia's breakfast. The naproxen did more than the antihistamines have. There's no congestion, just irritation deep in my sinuses. Maybe I need to use my neti pot once an hour or something?

I barely got out of bed yesterday. I ended up napping a bit, and when I got up, I felt light headed and weak. I'm pretty sure that part of the problem was not having eaten much.

I'm thinking to call UHS right when they open to see if they can get me in today. I don't know that they'll be able to offer me much beyond what I'm already doing, but the fact that this keeps coming back and that I'm on day three of this bout makes me worry. I don't have sinus infection symptoms, and I can't use Flonase type sprays.

Scott recaulked the window in the shower yesterday. He wanted to recaulk the tub, too, but the window took several hours and needed it more because of the sill. We have glass block in the window so that it's opaque and so that we no longer have to worry about slipping and smashing it. We'd lived here nearly ten years before we got that done. At any rate, mildew on the caulk on the windowsill is a recurring and ongoing problem. I think it would be helped by drying the sill after every shower, but I haven't been able to talk Scott into doing it.

I have a title for my Yuletide story. I'm still working on tags. I need to write the descriptive passages and to make sure I have the right character names in the right places. There's a scene that has two characters with similar names, and I've already found one point where I used one name when I meant the other.

Scott and I need to find several hours this week for watching library DVDs because we have a season set (The Librarians season 4) that's due next Monday and that can't be renewed. I thought he'd already watched it, but he says he hasn't and wants to. We can get it streaming, but I know from past experience that we're more likely to watch it together if we have the DVDs in hand.
