Dec. 14th, 2018 07:35 amScott thinks my damaged laptop cord might still be safe to use. I don't think I will, though, unless I have no choice. I liked having a power cord in the bedroom and one in the living room. Moving the cord back and forth increases the wear and tear on the dratted things.
I did a lot of catwaxing yesterday in terms of sorting through saved prompts to delete the ones for which I have no solid ideas and don't know the requester. There are a lot of things that I saved because writing that fandom might be fun in theory without having any idea at all what I might do with them. I'd like to cut the number of saved prompts considerably.
I'm trying to make notes when I do have story ideas so that I have a record of what interests me that way.
Scott and Cordelia will be going up to Scott's sister's house tomorrow for gingerbread decorating. Cordelia doesn't want to go, but this is likely to be the last year that decorating happens at all. She's the youngest of the in-state children, and she's fifteen.
I'm going to focus today on listening to some Overdrive audiobooks that will expire in the next two days. If Scott's off work next week, I won't be able to listen to anything. I put holds on a couple of DVD sets from the library that might be things he and I can watch together, so that it's not all reaction videos all day, all week.
I've got several books I want to finish by Sunday and one movie. The movie can't be renewed.
