the_rckI've let these pile up, so there are four stories behind the cut tag. One Arthurian Mythology story, one Chronicles of Amber story, and two Dreaming of Sunshine stories (with the second one a crossover with Avatar: The Last Airbender).

Summary: Tsunade wanted a drink, but she couldn't offer one to the man standing on the other side of her desk. Well, she could. She maybe even ought to. It was just too much like making a memorial offering.
Maboroshi couldn't touch a bowl of sake. He couldn't drink it the way a living person could, but maybe he wanted it anyway?

Summary: The High King proposed to Guinevere for the political alliance and in the hope that one of the children from Guinevere's first marriage might grow to be a competent heir. Arthya had no intention of bearing children herself, so stepchildren would be convenient.

Summary: Iroh poured two cups but, after setting it on the opposite side of the table from himself, didn't touch the second. "For whatever ghosts may pass," he murmured. It was politeness, he told himself, not superstition. "Be welcome as I would wish my lost ones to be at any table."
The shadows in his cabin coalesced so slowly that he didn't notice it happening until there was a figure, more absence of light than anything physical, kneeling by the other cup. "I have missed tea." The figure reached out human shaped hands and wrapped them around the cup.
