Still no phone or internet. I waited at home all day for AT&T's promised service technician. When I called them at 4:30, they still claimed we'd have service by 5:00. Scott called them again at 6:00, and they now say that they'll get to us some time tomorrow, for sure, really. This will likely require me to stay home from Scott's family's annual Father's Day gathering.

Right now, I'm sitting in Espresso Royale on Plymouth Rd. Scott and Cordelia went into town to the Vault of Midnight because Cordelia has a $10 gift card that she received for doing so well in her school's chess club.

I'm still picking away at my Weiss Kreuz Reverse Fest fic. I'm really starting to doubt that I can get it done. It's also twisting as I write so that it won't fit the prompt. I'm going to have to force it. I'd feel terrible turning in a story that didn't write to the prompt.

I wish companies had to pay an hourly fee for wasting their customers' time. :(

That would be nice. It would also be nice to get a discount on our monthly fee for the days we were without service. It wouldn't amount to much, but it would be something.
