Summary: "Ugh. Why do I have to be the page?" Usagi whined.
Mamoru knew she was mostly teasing, so he did his best to conceal his twitch. Neither Usagi nor Chibiusa were looking at him, so he was pretty sure neither of them noticed.
Chibiusa squared the deck of cards in her hand then stuck out her tongue at Usagi. "Because you're not the Queen!"

"I'm not even in your universe yet," Illyria says, riffling through a deck of cards. She frowns at what she sees. "Not when you are, that is. You've only just met Angel."
Buffy frowns. She remembers years of knowing Angel.

Summary: "Think it's cold enough for hazard pay?" Ken asked because he didn't want to think about what pain Aya might be hiding.
Aya made a sound Ken interpreted as 'we can only hope.' Aya was always very concerned about getting paid properly and promptly.
Ken had no idea what Aya was doing with that money. Their rooms were comped, so it wasn't as if he was paying Tokyo rent.
Maybe Aya was buying diamonds or some such shit. Portable wealth that would harder to track than investments.
Omi had to know where Aya's money went, but asking would be cheating; Ken needed to figure it out himself.
