Today is not going well. I've got a cold, and it's raining. Normally, I wouldn't mind rain, but Scott's family has plans to go to a state park for a session with a professional photographer this evening. So far as we're aware, there's no rain date. This is what we bought new clothes for, at least in part.

Scott's got a dental appointment at 4:30. It'll take us at least an hour, probably more with rush hour traffic, to get to the state park. The photo shoot is scheduled to start at 6:30. Scott's sister says they can work around us being a little late, but if we're a lot late, it's a problem. I don't know when we're going to fit in dinner. Well, Cordelia and I will eat around five, and I'll take food and a water bottle for my 7:00 with food meds. Scott's the one who may not get dinner.

We're supposed to go for ice cream after the photo shoot. This cold means I don't dare have ice cream. Even something non-dairy and cold would be problematic. There will have to be a non-dairy option because Scott's father can't have dairy at all. The temptation to be stupid will be almost overwhelming.

Thanks for the good wishes! The weather site Scott uses is predicting 80% chance of thunderstorms for the area where the state park is, so I suspect we're going to have to reschedule.

Maybe if we do it in a day or two, this cold will have disappeared. It's not severe, just enough that I know it's there.
