Aug. 13th, 2013 08:07 amCordelia lost her nerve and came home with Scott last night. I wish I knew what to do to help her. My psychiatrist has suggested that we should see somebody, but that prospect is daunting-- We need to find someone who takes our insurance, who clicks with Cordelia and who is on one of the bus lines I can manage. My psychiatrist suggested a particular clinic. They don't take our insurance but they are conveniently located. Cordelia's pediatrician had no real suggestions when we asked last year.

What if you gave her permission to call you in the middle of the night? I doubt she'd use that.
Has she ever had an overnight in your house with a babysitter while you and Scott were elsewhere?

I don't think we've ever left her at home with a babysitter period. Maybe once when she was a few months old. We usually take her to Scott's sister or to Scott's parents when we need to do something without her. I suppose we should try finding a babysitter that she likes. We just don't go out much, so we'd be inventing reasons to use a babysitter.
