the_rckOur printer is currently not working. It's always complained about the ink cartridges Scott used (he bought cheaper, almost right ones. I think they'd been emptied and refilled), but now it's decided not to let them work at all. We can't print anything, and cleaning the heads hasn't helped. Scott says we'll have to bite the bullet and buy the official ink cartridges.
I'm frustrated about the printer not working because it puts a crimp in my plans for LARP conversion. This particular game is proving easier to convert than I feared because all of the word processing was done in MSWord. I've still got eleven sheets of possessions/abilities to convert, though, and I'm putting them off.
Of course, what I really ought to be doing is my Fic Corner story. I've had to abandon what I've written so far in order to take another approach to things. The first approach was going to end up rooted in a point of view I don't want to use. The bulk of the story will be two characters talking, and she's not one of them. I could have her present, but I don't think it would add anything. Everything I'm writing now is set up, and I think I know how to start properly. I just wish canon was a little clearer on a few points. I don't want to make stuff up.
