the_rckMy uncle died on Friday the 30th. My mother sent me and my sister a brief e-mail saying that he'd gone, that he'd only lasted about thirty minutes after they took him off the ventilator.
I haven't talked to Mom yet. I don't know when or where the funeral will be. We're unlikely to be able to go, but I'd like to know. I also want to know how Mom is doing, and I'm hoping that she has addresses for my uncle's daughters. My cousins may have been estranged from their father, but I'm sure they're still mourning.
