Reading with the second graders has been going well for Cordelia so far. She goes twice a week, and one of those times, she brings back a book or two to practice with. She's still learning to get information out of a story or a nonfiction narrative.

One day last week, she came home and said, "Today we learned that the second graders are studying trees."
