I'm trying to think of nice things to do for Scott for Valentine's Day and for his birthday which is coming up. Going out for dinner is unlikely to happen unless we take Cordelia along which pretty severely limits where we can go because she's picky. There's also the fact that Scott's family has a birthday party planned for him and our nephew on the day of Scott's birthday.

Scott's got a very short Amazon wishlist. A lot of what's on it is kitchen stuff that I know he doesn't particularly want. He just put those on the list to keep from forgetting about them. There are two games, but I hesitate to buy those. He has lots of games he's never played because he has no one with whom to play them. I can't. I have a phobic reaction when I try to play most games (It seems to relate to whether or not there's a right thing to do. If there's strategy involved, I start to shake and freak out. I can play things like Apples to Apples because there is no right thing to do).

I need to order whatever I'm getting soon. I've got eighteen days. I also have to figure out something for Cordelia to give to him and get her to help pick it out. I suppose she could give him another t-shirt, but I had an awful time finding the last one, and he doesn't have a lot of opportunities to wear t-shirts.

There's a book I want to give him, but that doesn't come out until late April. It'll have to be a Father's Day present.

I wonder if I could organize an afternoon/evening of game playing for the day before his birthday? That has some possibilities. He'll be on vacation, so he definitely won't have to work, and the day before his birthday is a Saturday, so there are likely to be people who are free. It might work.
