Apr. 29th, 2015 11:59 amThis morning has not really progressed in a satisfactory manner. I started the day with a bloody nose. Then my IBS kicked up. Then I realized (far too late in the morning) that the reason I felt cold was that Cordelia changed the system to 'cool' yesterday and nobody had changed it back to 'warm.' It's almost noon, and I still haven't gotten my shower in or accomplished anything in particular. It's all very annoying.
Cordelia and I ate leftovers last night (Scott worked late). I also made up a tube of biscuits (I'm lazy. I'd much rather buy a Pillsbury tube than try to mess with getting everything right with Jiffy mix).
Cordelia's best friend and the friend's younger brother were over for about an hour and a half yesterday. They come over here most Tuesdays and Thursdays now because of Cross Country. That ends at 4:00, and their father can't pick them up until some time after 5:15. It's not a big deal, really, and Cordelia enjoys the company. I was just really, really glad that they spent most of their time in Cordelia's room rather than in the living room playing with the WiiU.

metanews stuff to do for the next day or two, not until the Google doc for next week's post goes up. It's nice not to be thinking about that for a while.
