Scott actually didn't do the laundry yesterday. Well, he washed the sheets because I insisted, and Cordelia washed her own clothes when I prompted her to. I did eventually point out to Scott that I only have enough clothes to get through today before I have to start wearing dirty stuff. Given that he's expecting to work late tonight, I have no idea when the laundry will get done. I can get up and down the basement stairs, but I need my hands, so I can't carry anything. Well, he did take one load of dirty clothes downstairs last night and leave it for me to wash. It's not ideal, but if I can get him to bring it upstairs tonight, I will at least have something to wear tomorrow.

I suppose I could stretch things by simply not getting dressed today at all. We're not expecting any visitors, and I don't expect to leave the house. I'm just not enthusiastic about that option. Tomorrow, I will have to get dressed-- Someone's coming to take a look at the air conditioner, and Cordelia has a concert at 6:30. I don't know if Cordelia's friends will come over or not. The older of the two is in the same concert as Cordelia, so they may skip cross country in order for her to get ready for the concert. I need to email their mother and ask what she wants to do. There's only half an hour between when their father picks them up and when the girl needs to be back at the school, and it's about ten minutes to get from our house (or the school) to their place when traffic's not bad.

Scott and Cordelia picked up lunch yesterday at Zoup. I pretty much always get the chicken pot pie soup. I prefer the squash soup, but they almost never have that and pretty much always have the chicken pot pie (we've never gone in and found that they didn't have that particular soup). Cordelia refuses to eat soup, but she likes Zoup's sandwiches well enough.

I was going to bake potatoes for dinner last night while the weather was cool, but I lost track of time, and suddenly it was too late to do it. Of course, it was easily 8:00 by the time we got the dinner we did eat, so I suppose I could have done the potatoes after all.

I've narrowed down my Remix options to three stories. They're very different from each other, and I'm not sure which one I'd prefer to do. One story is safe because it's the sort of thing I've done before with some success. The second story is something I could probably do well and enjoy writing, but it would be painful as well as enjoyable because the story ends in a place I'd rather not go. The third story would probably be the most challenging because it's not something I've done before. I think I could do it well and that other people would enjoy reading it.

Oh, well. I have time to think about it. I need to link find today and tomorrow because I didn't do any of that this weekend. I didn't actually do much of anything this weekend. I just turned around to discover that the weekend had vanished.
