There's ice on the sidewalks. It's been getting warm enough to melt some of the snow during the day, and then everything freezes at night. Cordelia seems to take the ice in stride, but I walk really carefully. I can't afford a fall. My history with falls is one of lasting injuries, and I've got to be out and about quite a bit this month. I've got at least one appointment every week (on top of Cordelia's weekly appointments). That means, at the very least, that I have to be able to walk to and from the bus stop.
Today, I see the dentist. Next week, I see the psychiatrist and get my eyes checked. The week after that is my annual physical. I may have to go back after that for a fasting blood draw. I'm going to try fasting before the appointment, but it's at 10:30, and I'm not sure the timing will work. I might be fasting too long. I can't remember what the window is. No less than twelve hours, I'm sure of, but is it no more than sixteen or no more than fourteen? I'm sure if I Google it, I can find out.
