Feb. 15th, 2014 03:19 pmCordelia's indoor soccer game was hard fought. It ended in a tie. Cordelia's team is starting to run plays. The girls aren't altogether sure what they're doing, but they're trying hard. Cordelia played sweeper (defense) twice. She really seemed to like it and be good at it.
Including the goalie, each team has five players out on the floor at any given time. They do a sort of diamond formation with one sweeper/defender and one person on offense and the other two off to the sides, playing midfield. The sweeper does all kick ins.
Cordelia's troop sold 32 boxes of cookies last night. That's a lot less than they hoped for, but it's pretty good for the time slot they had. I don't know how many boxes they had to start with or what happens to those they didn't sell. I know that with the cookies we ordered, they rounded our orders up to full cases, and we're expected to pay for the extra cookies somehow.
Scott and Cordelia also picked up the cookies Cordelia sold. We paid for them all up front. We'll have the people who bought them pay us. We're currently looking around for a box the right size to ship my sister's six boxes.
My SAS shoes arrived today. I wasn't expecting them this soon. I've got them on now. They feel a little tight because they're new. I was going to throw my old ones out, but Cordelia asked for them. I have no idea what she plans to do with them. They're a size and a half too big for her yet, and the bottoms have concave spots worn into them.
