Feb. 16th, 2014 05:42 pmScott found a Chinese restaurant on Liberty that does bubble tea. It's both closer to the library and less convenient. Cordelia wasn't willing to walk the three or so blocks, so we drove, figuring we'd only stop if there was parking. There was parking, so we did stop. Their bubble tea is cheaper than either Bubble Island or Momo Tea, and they have flavors we've not seen before (I'm very curious about oatmeal and pudding flavors), but the servings are smaller, and they put the tea in a standard carry out cup with a hole in the center for the straw rather than sealing everything in the way Bubble Island and Momo Tea do. I had apple flavored green tea. Cordelia had watermelon flavored green tea with milk.
We may end up going to this place, TKWu, in the summer. It's right across the street from the smoothie place that Scott and Cordelia like, so they'd have the option of doing that instead. Hopefully, in the summer, Cordelia wouldn't object to walking from the library. In the meantime, Bubble Island and Momo Tea are more convenient because there's parking quite nearby.
