I'm looking at Adagio Tea's website. Somebody recommended it to me. Mostly, I'm looking at samplers because I really don't know what I like. There are three oolong samplers. Normally, I'd be interested in all of them, but two of them include blends I can't have-- One has walnuts (allergy), and the other has grapefruit (medication interaction). I suppose I could buy the samplers and just not ever make those teas.

Of course, buying more tea will get Scott annoyed with me. We have a lot of tea, much of it stuff that only I will ever drink. We went through recently and pulled out the stuff that nobody's going to drink. I just wish we had less red zinger. I like it a lot but not quite that much. I should pull the peppermint tea, too. I'm not supposed to have it, and Cordelia doesn't like it. Scott might drink it just to get rid of it. We've also got peppermint chocolate. I like it, but I shouldn't have it. Cordelia likes the idea of it, but she seldom actually drinks it.

Adagio does excellent teas for good prices. I'm very fond of their almond and their peach oolong. I like their white teas, too; I settled on tangerine, pear, and cucumber (which you wouldn't think but it's a rather nice balance, especially for iced tea in summer). If you're looking to unload some Red Zinger, I'd be willing to swap you samples of any or all of the above for a box or two. I have their Lapsang Souchong and English Breakfast, too, if you go in for black teas at all. Everything I have is loose, though.

I have two unopened, sealed in plastic boxes of red zinger (I probably have more. Scott bought six boxes, and his parents gave us a seventh. This is just what I found immediately). It's kind of old, though. The expiration date on the box is January of 2013. I've been making tea from another box that's equally old, however, and I haven't noticed any change in the flavor.

If you're willing to trade for red zinger past its expiration date, I would love to try samples of anything you care to send. You'd have to judge what's fair. Red zinger isn't dreadfully expensive or exotic.

I've got a good sized infuser, so I can handle loose tea. I haven't done it much, but I'm willing.

We should probably take this to PM so that we can exchange addresses. If I get yours in time, I'm going to be down near the post office tomorrow around noon, so I could mail it then.

I like Adagio teas. I order from them a few times a year. But I drink a LOT of tea. I have one of their oolong samplers, and I liked three out of the four. I still have some of it at work. They come in neat little foil envelopes.
