the_rckScott managed to finish uploading the last of the video from the STEAM meeting to YouTube, and I sent the link out to the people who'd asked about it.
Cordelia's best friend's mother has just told me that they want their daughter to remain at the current school but that their daughter wants to go to the middle school. She's hopeful that, if Cordelia stays, her daughter will change her mind. I've shared this with Cordelia. She still wants the middle school, but I've told her that we may overrule her. She's not pleased about that possibility.
Scott has a busy day ahead of him, Cordelia only a little less so. Scott's thinking to drag her along to his Science Olympiad practice because she has a practice in the same place half an hour after his ends. He doesn't want to drive home only to turn around and drive back. We haven't told her this plan yet. I think she will object.
We have to go to the public library pretty much right when it opens because Scott has to be somewhere at two. From two on, either Scott or Cordelia will be busy at any given time. I think there's half an hour in there when they'll both be free, but that won't be enough time for the library and bubble tea.
So far, the Prilosec isn't making things worse. I'm not sure that it's making things better, but it doesn't seem to be making things worse. Getting the timing right on taking it is going to be a challenge on the weekends. Weekdays, I can have lunch exactly half an hour after I take the Prilosec. Saturdays, we sometimes eat out, and that makes the timing imprecise. Sundays, Scott makes pancakes, and he expects me to eat some. I have to guess when they'll be ready and try to take the medication half an hour before.
At least the Prilosec is only once a day. The medication it's replacing, nizatidine (Axid), was twice a day and also had to be half an hour before meals. Getting the timing right on dinner was very difficult because I had to predict when Scott would be done showering.
