About 12:45, my friend, [livejournal.com profile] odosgirl, came over and drove me to Kroger. I had a prescription to fill, and I'd kept forgetting to give it to Scott. I was going to run out tomorrow, and I knew he couldn't fill the prescription then, so I e-mailed my friend to ask the favor of a ride. Of all my meds, this is the one with a reputation for nasty withdrawal symptoms, so I really didn't want to let myself run out.

Filling the prescription took maybe twenty minutes. While we waited, we looked at the display of paperbacks for sale and discussed romance novels and authors.

After I had my prescription, we walked over to Orange Leaf and had some frozen yogurt. I had chocolate banana and brownie batter. I'm not sure what [livejournal.com profile] odosgirl had, but I know she had at least three different flavors in her cup. We sat on couches near the window and talked. Mostly, she told me about what she's doing with her dissertation which sounds fascinating. She's looking at three different fictional representations of Thomas Paine over the centuries and comparing them.

We ran late enough that I didn't get my exercise programs in today. I feel a little guilty about that, but if I'm not here at 2:00, there's not a lot I can do. I need to invest in some Body Electric DVDs. They're kind of expensive, but it would be good to have something for days when I miss the show or when, as on the weekends, the show isn't on. I'm also thinking to get one of those foam kneeling pads that they sell for gardeners because I can't currently do anything that has me on my knees. Maybe volleyball kneepads would work, but those are more expensive and not so much a thing to experiment with.
